Your Photo Session

Prior to your session, we like to speak to you about what you would like to get out of your photo session.  Some clients prefer more formal poses while others prefer just going with the flow.  By understanding what you hope to have the end product be, we will know what to focus on during the shoot. 

Please be sure to schedule the shoot according to what time is best  for the child.  We want your child’s personality to shine in the photos.  Also, if you would like to include a prop, stuffed animal, or anything else to reflect your child’s personality, feel free. 

Clothing Suggestions

In a word, SIMPLE!  By dressing in simple clothing the focus remains on you and not on what you are wearing.  Jeans, khakis, solid color shirts and simple dresses work best.  Families should dress in similar, if not matching clothing.  If you know you will want primarily black and white photos, long sleeved shirts are recommended.  For newborns, they will be naked for a majority of the shoot; however, if you would like them to wear an outfit, we strongly recommend limiting the number of outfits to two, as the more changes a baby has, the more irritable they tend to get.
